when i see the crows i'm intrigued and i want to talk with them. i wonder if they're talking about chasing somebody away, like the kestrels. i know they're just being crows. i really wish they could live and let live on the building, but maybe the crows are more established residents and the kestrels have a wider range and come and go. it's not easy to live in the city. i wonder what will happen next year. not only for the kestrels and crows but everybody.

 this place always looks like the aftermath of some wild event, but i've never seen anyone there. it's a ghostly place.

i wish i could remember my dreams. why can i remember embarrassing moments from forty years ago, and go completely blank on my dreams of last night? i did a lot of work in my dreams, i think, only to forget them. is forgetting natural to dreaming? is the work i did still done, or undone on waking? and how would i know. then again i often feel like i've been dreaming awake, and maybe dreaming is continuous by night and day. i often feel like there's something i need to remember, or maybe just something i need to ponder. is this it? it's a need for reality that is missing in the waking world of simulation that sends me dreaming.

 it's abzurd that i just started swimming and it's the end of june. i saw a fellow i met like 11 years ago with his tiny kid who's 13 now and still small. i still feel dogless there, especially when i see people who knew me with mister. some people i haven't seen since he left. if he was here i would have been in the water a month ago. oh i miss my swimming buddy so.

 i saw both of the people i said i hated obama to yesterday. i thought it might be awkward, but it was nothing. fiona took hold of lulu's leash and we decided to go to the midway on the other side of the tracks from obama's land grab playground. i think dog people like dogs are generally willing to let go of differences for the common good, unlike obama who steals from the common good. good dogs make better people, but obama's a full time renegade oligarch park thief so probably irredeemable.
