i started to read mary shelley's the last man today. in the preface alan weisman's the world without us is mentioned. i loved that book. i loved frankenstein too, but i never got to her other books. mary shelley wrote the last man in 1826, and it's about now, the 21st century. she's a clairvoyant. she saw what was happening.
