there was a girl in elementary school i lusted after out of my senses and in my swooning innocence i gave her my precious rock collection on the playground and her circle of girls laughed and threw my beauties in the air and they fell all around me and the girls kept madly laughing as i shuffled off to my private humiliation bereft of my misdirected love and my rock collection ground into the playground dust. i thought of this because of the barbie movie. it's a long story but that's all it is, a story. i have a story and wonderful rock collection better than my childhood one, and a girl who feels the magic coming up from the ground.
