the story of the flood sent to wipe out evil on earth started thousands of years before the bible. more ancient texts keep being uncovered. you have to wonder how much history has been vaporized by bombs. water may have come to earth by comets and asteroids. there's a lot of water out there in space. we could have a planet of water or desert or smoky gaseous ruins or all of these. i think we're going to destroy the ecosystem and then start again from the ruins. the stories are still being written by us about us about the illustrious future past. we can't blame our former selves. we were so young.
