i must have had sad dreams. i woke sad. i was going to watch a film about the kogi, an ancient tribe that stays secluded from the so called civilized world because they are responsible for keeping the world from destruction. it came out in 2012. so much has been destroyed since then. i hope the kogi are still here. i'm going to look for them. i know there are others keeping life going amid the destruction. my sister wrote about the sadness too. we're in this existential condition, but saying that means we're still here. gratitude for that. thanks, mom.
