I did a thing last night
You know those future games
I turned off all the lights
Oh, the future came
You were by my side
Will you explain-oh yeah
Real rhyme or reason for those future games
You know those future games
I turned off all the lights
Oh, the future came
You were by my side
Will you explain-oh yeah
Real rhyme or reason for those future games
Now you were there last night
And oh were you afraid
Of things we'd come upon
While playing future games
But baby it's alright and so have faith
Oh yeah, you invent the future that you want to face
And oh were you afraid
Of things we'd come upon
While playing future games
But baby it's alright and so have faith
Oh yeah, you invent the future that you want to face
How many people sit home at night
Wondering if they will be here tonight
Wondering if children will he bring to the light
Inherit the world, or inherit the night
Wondering if neighbors are thinking the same
All of the wild things tomorrow will tame
Talking of journeys that happen in vain
Wondering if they will be here tonight
Wondering if children will he bring to the light
Inherit the world, or inherit the night
Wondering if neighbors are thinking the same
All of the wild things tomorrow will tame
Talking of journeys that happen in vain
Well I know I'm not the only one
To ever spend my life sitting playing future games
To ever spend my life sitting playing future games
You better take your time
You know there's no escape
The future sends a sign
Of things we will create
Baby it's alright
And so have faith
Oh yeah, you invent the future that you want to face
You know there's no escape
The future sends a sign
Of things we will create
Baby it's alright
And so have faith
Oh yeah, you invent the future that you want to face
How many people sit home at night
Wondering if they will be here tonight
Wondering if children will he bring to the light
Inherit the world, or inherit the night
Wondering if neighbors are thinking the same
All of the wild things tomorrow will tame
Wondering if they will be here tonight
Wondering if children will he bring to the light
Inherit the world, or inherit the night
Wondering if neighbors are thinking the same
All of the wild things tomorrow will tame
Talking of journeys that happen in vain
And I know I'm not the only one
To ever spend my life sitting playing future games
Future games
Future games
Future games
Future games
Future games
Future games
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not the only one

(just a thought about rules. an exchange i had about how to do something where i said there are no rules, only you, accelerated to the point where some unwritten rules about games of argument and debate came into it, and i said i wasn't trying to win, i was trying to help. preferences came up at last, and i said preferences yes, then you only need ask yourself. there are no rules to preferences it's true. it was me who brought up rules. but in a society of rules rules seep down, leach down to our very preferences, infiltrating, so that even our our preferences, become unbenownst to us, overruled. what i mean is rules will abide freedom. we're trained to see it the other way around, by the rulists of course, like freedom ain't free, it is ruled.)
i would like to see a future where we collaborate, with instinct and intuition, love and compassion and responsibility, not making our own rules, nor being ruled by brutes. where we have real freedom not control by institution. not what we have. a mock freedom under absolute rule, where the rules are the rules of deadly corporate games.
