a baby boy is a wonderful thing, though i wonder what the world will be like by the time he's as old as me. i won't be able to see him old like me. i just hope it'll all turn out alright. one wants to make a good world for baby, and the world is not the way we want it for baby, and we made it and so we must feel quite ambivalent.
