assimilating brahms.

wow, i heard anthony pateras last night play piano in the penthouse at the logan center. phenomenal. he seems in communication with the german romantics, brahms, along with cecil taylor and morton feldman. he played with the pads of his fingers, he played with his elbows. he plays with his feelings. it was like going to an aural spa with a russian   mental masseuse. i am not speaking or thinking clear but music is so right sometimes.
