i don't even respond on good neighbors if there is a request for a walker. i imagine my reputation precedes me anyway. if someone looks for someone like me, or if their dog does, they will find me. on the way to hilde's in the arcade under metra i flashed back to when i had heidi and janey off leash and they gathered round a pair of leashed ones and the woman said, i prefer if your dogs are on leash, and i said, i prefer if your dogs are off leash. now i said to her in my head, i prefer if you are nice, but i guess that's up to you. anyway good neighbors are what got us into this continuum, this mess. nevertheless like many spectres i have faced, that one biped seems to have evanesced.
