i dread going home to the mouse hole. i'm afraid a cat would be poisoned by the poison-tolerant mice who've been getting glue-trapped and poisoned for years and are probably super-tolerant and toxic.

but what i started out to say is i found this in the drafts on my dumb phone, and i may have even written it:  
       americans can't stand our freedom. not being an american but being a dog walker in america i can tell you they despise and fear freedom. the only freedom they can abide is the freedom to conform. they will kill you for your struggles toward freedom, no matter how humble. for americans those audacious enough to seek freedom are seditious terrorists and to be treated like the vermin they are. freedom must be exterminated. we shall be free of freedom, all hail and bough low with the heavy genetically modified fruits of freedom depending on you.
