r. was listening to somebody talk about the rainbow bridge the other day and i'd never heard of it spoken that way, she was saying people are losing the rainbow bridge that brings us to heaven or perhaps is the bridge between heaven and earth, going both ways, that we've been losing that connection, and i've thought before of how animals are bridge beings, between the animal and human, a connection faltering as we annihilate vast numbers of animal species. i've thought of dogs as connection, between the exteriorized self in the matrix and the languishing passenger spirit, or as bridges between people who've forgotten how to be animal and human, who become products, human technologies, who turn to personal devices, who devolve to autopilots.
i thought the rainbow bridge was a jimi hendrix song. it's an album, but it's a posthumus album. psychedelic span. i thought vaguely of don juan in castaneda's a separate reality. when i look it up it's all about pets going to heaven by the rainbow bridge, which is a commercial enterprise of course. that's what comes up in the search engine. i sure never think of heaven that way. man if we destroy paradise we surely won't go to heaven, only some of us, only while we're still here, in the love of bridge animals, dogs and people who understand.
in the park i made notes in my flip phone, idly following him. at the south end he looked over his shoulder at me, and i knew what he was thinking. i followed him to this place, the park shore, and he stood blocking the entrance until his buddy came with treats. a guy coming out asked if he lives here and i said no, he only comes for treats, and the guy said that's how they got me too, gave me treats, and then i signed. then mister sneaked in the door and started to sneak through the inside door, and he was so fixated on getting in, i had to grab him bodily and steer him back out, and then he planted himself at the next entrance and inside they were laughing and i had to squat down and push him again. he's getting to be such a character these days. he really cracks me up these days.
there's an aristocracy of corruption. it's not that the system is corrupted.
corruption is the system. oh, crime pays, alright. it pays too much. the world bleeds blood money. maybe it's better to make your own natural aristocracy, like cats. if only there was no money. the world might be saved. without this planetary theft,
there could be no poverty, eventually, oh, jaspie.
how did we come to this ? to be trapped in the crushing poverty of the criminally rich?
the level of fear is unprecedented.
under all the chaos and violent control, it is love, not money, that we want.
they can gasp in horror at trump on the border, but obomba was the deporter in chief and staged the military coup on honduras that created the nightmare that resulted in the desperate migration here. the terrible irony is people come here to escape u.s. violence in the rest of the the world. the u.s. creates failed states and occupies them militarily. trump can't stop the migration of refugees the u.s. occupation of terror creates.
papa bush is dead! woo-hoo!
i keep returning
to this branch
until it's gone
not knowing what it is
sometimes that is
just holding on
