we met a couple in the paul h. douglas nature sanctuary who pointed out a sea eagle. we told another couple about the sea eagle. the couple told us about a bunch of egrets on the island. i told the couple they're fake egrets, supposed to lure real ones to settle on the island, but all the egrets are cattywampus, zip-tied by the neck, with pipes sticking out of their butts. i can hear the real egrets saying that's a nice little island, but there's something creepy going on. let's split this scene but quick.
