people want to escape from pain. it's only natural. people don't want to be bombed, or eaten alive. people want joy and freedom. but when the culture people live in is killing people, people don't know where to go. there's no escape. except the water, and the life that persists, despite, within, and beyond the reach of the government killing machine.
