i've been sleeping in since penny's gone. the sun woke penny and penny woke me. the sun still comes into the living room. i have to set my biology to get up and go to the sun. tomorrow i'll try to greet the sun as it rises out of the lake. it will be a sad celebration, to see the light come into the room and not see penny glowing in the presence of the sun, to be still, to be with her spirit there.
