last night i was making a pizza and another storm came and lightning hit right by the fire door causing penny to jump. then the sky turned  peachy at sunset. we watched a dumb movie about princess grace. a guy was raving in the alley. i thought about the students getting drenched in their tents again. later, squealing tires and racing engines and flash bangs after the storm. this morning birds and the unsettling hum of the university power station.
