i had a conversation this morning before going to see how the encampment was doing. the gist of it was — it's complicated. complicated is an evasion, an erasure. it's self defense, they said, not genocide. i asked are you a zionist? they said they don't even know what zionism is. oh, come on. yet they know what terrorism is. in the end they said we just have different views. i said it's not about views, and it's not complicated. it's about truth. we hear that we're living in the post-truth age, and that is scary as hell. there is no post truth. they may sweep away they encampment, they can continue investing in genocide, but the truth will still remain the truth. truth can't be annihilated. it keeps spreading the word. liberation.
