i can't stand it when people fold the pages of a book, too lazy to get up for a bookmark, or smear chocolate or cheetos dust in the margins. sometimes they underline sentences hard in ink and then write their own sentences next to the sentences, saying "so true", or "bullshit". i don't understand people. act like it's their own fucking book. i'm reading indelicacy and there's a fold already on page 7. i want to dump the book back in the library but i wrote the writer saying i ordered it so i gotta read it. page 11, fold. no underlines, dumb comments, nor crumbs. i can do this, only 146 more pages.
