john notes the waves look like we're in hawaii.
i say it's true, the color of the water, as well as the waves, seems exotic
lately. the water is bristling with energy, which i seem to need. it was calmer today, though the color is still the same pacific aquamarine. mister snorted water, honked, and returned to land. i think his body rides lower now. he wants to perch on my hand and then turn around and me to follow. he lays down on the pebbles, and if i swim further out he stands up and tracks me.
i
notice lulu has a penchant for flowers, and they like her too, and
raspberries. once she finds something interesting she stores it in her
memory. she remembers every source of water, and today even nuzzled an
unfamiliar hose, hoping it would spray.i'd love to get lulu in the waves. i'd love to get lulu together with mister. i don't know what he'd do, but i saw how she modulates her energy now according to the energy of the person she meets, sometimes. she's getting more mature by the day, and growing big. now i start setting her down in the elevator, distracting her from squatting, and today she waited til she got to the grass rather than mid-sidewalk. and she doesn't pull to every passerby, i can kind of guide her with small tugs and words. she looks round at me now, checking in. i feel her listening even when she's pointedly proceeding. often her ears are folded back, but i think that's just a floppy quirk, though she is listening more.
