for caroline, who listened to my blather yesterday.
the soul of wood.

i saw a humming bird. anyway, my next book after the holocaust love and theft tale is hilda hilst's with my dog-eyes. well i dispatched that un quick. it was interesting but frankly i think she drank too much and though she had a hundred dogs and given the title, there was nary a bit of dogness in the book. it was really about human stuff, foibles and so on, but i guess it comes from agamemnon so there you go. anyway she was land rich and had a big commune for dogs and people artists so she's cool with me and her books are very brief as she devoted a lot of time to them and drinking.

i used to be afraid of everything. i'm still afraid of people but realize they aren't everything. and governments and corporations go without saying.

in the future everyone will have a blog even the dogwalker. a warhol.

hungry ghosts is compelling, i mean imagination-wise i know it ain't easy when they're keening and rattling about in you, but even then when you talk to them... i was talking in the park with the dogs about human evil, nietzsche, fracking, and hungry ghosts and drawing no conclusions trailing off to looking at the dogs sort of envious chagrined and shamed, they so sweet and present and instinctual. ok bye.
