tomsdispatch today. a novel about war in america. beverly gologorsky. she writes how her whole life america has been at war and yet very few novelists write about it. is it so ubiquitous as to be regarded as boring? is it just so hard to think about? it is, and it's important to try, and i ordered stop time from the library and expect to write about it. i regard tom highly. he is a light of the earth, and when he shines on someone the light intensifies.
