at shay luna it's nocturnal, and then it's diurnal too. to them it's normal but boy howdy i need sleep. i can't keep up with these animals. luna uses her mouth and tongue like expressive humans use their hands. if my hand dangles off the couch she nuzzles it with her wet nose then chews it and whimpers and pulls it like a teat. the cat looks mildly insane but is a quite sane and super friendly without being insistent, though she is rather a boor for treats.
