last night i and a special handful of people attended Atomic States of America, and were angered, appalled and terrified. like most we would rather avoid wakefulness and impotence but we cannot sleep while the house is on fire. and seeing this film we cannot deny that the nuclear industry preys on our ignorance, our apathy, our fatalism, and our stupidity. still, i am grateful for david kraft and for the university church for being awake and alive, i am grateful to be in a room with people who can still feel. this in itself is hope. there is no hope in obomba's nuclear plans. i am hoping to host another viewing, for another special handful of souls.

the nuclear regulatory committee answers to excelon, not the mothers of children with cancer living on the verge of their tainted compounds. the nuclear industry is death, not under mountains, not under desert, in the water of your suburb, in your tap, mixed with your mother's formula. look at the map, you are here.
