it may be the time of the season, or it may be unseasonal. the birds were bristling today. i understand many are nesting and i'm an intruder and that's probably that. it's just that the weather too, and people and dogs seem to be bristling. i do know that for those against dogs on the island, it is People who offend them. they hardly notice my dog, they occasionally dive-bomb me when i'm simply walking the righteous path.
