by the little aquifer by the lake we rest and photograph more tendrils and then heidi and bill come along and we have a big small reunion. then we meet terri and sweet olive and i am asked to church and i say honestly i don't really go to churches unless they have an activist bent like the one on university and 57th. what kind of church i ask and she says it's non-denominational and recognizes the kingdom of god is right here now and i say i feel that and i feel it with dogs and nature. dogs i guess are my church i say.
