lil rascal olive spirited out the door unnoticed by me, like shadow slipping through shade. i was surprised when she didn't run to the door she was already through. r. said was surprised too, and the kid had crashed into the globe table and i though maybe she was hiding. then i heard her meowing to get back inside.
