we made it back to big marsh after a wrong turn and a big loop. the drag racers were out there raging along the periphery and it was freezing. they did a controlled burn and we saw a lot of bricks with different names and a coyote running along the drag strip terrified. there's a new bridge and the new trails opening up the whole park. we heard a western chorus frog community singing and r. made a recording. it was strange and wonderful. the frogs were invisible. it's good that this industrial zone is being reclaimed by nature especially now that biden time is selling out the arctic refuge but i wish the drag racers would go poof.
