i didn't think often about clarence darrow but i did when i crossed the clarence darrow bridge over the lagoon, and i'm sorry it is to be destroyed. i don't know too much, but i remember Inherit the Wind, and he recalls a time when a good person could do something for human rights and maybe not win the nobel peace prize, but get some major media involved. something is passing and we don't yet know what it is. maybe some records will show. but texas shows that not much progress has been made, or how quickly we still tend toward the dark ages.
