The mystery of healing. My lip healed, but is not the same since hitting the pavement. The body wants to heal, but it has to make compromise. The body eventually concedes. Scars may be visible or nearly invisible. We may see scars with our spirit. What did the fall do in my brain? Sadness is a confluence not to be denied. Of course I am grateful to be sad in this world one week from my fall, and all that has happened in seven days, and the occupation, and the genocide, and the forever wars.
