I'm grateful for this book, Greyhound, and Olive, and R., and for the space to rest and heal from my fall, and watch the storm. the book is a diary of the forsaken country by bus, from 2006 and 2023. To think of the changes they put this forsaken land and people through. It matters greatly to keep a diary, for the writer and the reader. It matters to keep watching, whatever happens, and to be alive through the changes which are harrowing, and to see the beauty in it all, and to learn, and remember, why we're here.
