This state, known as ‘absolute zero’, is defined as a condition in which no more energy exchange can occur. The ultimate expression of absolute zero is a system in which there are no complex forms of energy at all, only an even distribution of low-level background radiation. In this near-absolute emptiness, no ‘thing’ can be said to exist, and even the possibility of change is nullified.
