i want to write a letter. i want to write a history. how i came here, and found my love, how this place, these walks, the wonderful animals, how they saved me.
i will write that letter, to the editor, somewhere in the city.
but so far i wrote tonia hill, of our neighborhood paper,
hi tonia, i was just thinking, what if the obama foundation took the 500 million or so it will cost to build his monument, and put that into the neighborhood, while also leaving the people’s park alone. i know that’s not going to happen, but why do they have to destroy the people’s park
to help the neighborhood.

Hi, Doug. Thanks for your note. Your thoughts echo the sentiment of
many folks in the neighborhood. I guess all we can do is wait and see
what happens with the city and federal approval process.
