I'm impressed by human adaptability to human evil. Thinking of Danny Haiphong and others who make critical and thoughtful work independent of the evil system. Reading Radical Hope reminds me that we live in the same world as the Crow people, who have to find a way to be in the colonized world, as those who are sentient do. Radical hope isn't about returning, it's about adapting, and resisting, and staying true to life in a world collapsed.
