what my body says without saying by listening. listening says i'm listening. listening is a body inside. my assignment from before, from necessity, the mother of therapy. i got a little anxious there zooming, face freezing, words stuttering. we picked up the phone and the issue solved. i talked about the time my friend in grade school died and mom read it to me like a newscaster, casting dread, and i slept by the record console listening to 3 dog night all night even as i fell asleep and walked through the sliding glass door and she knew and i denied because it was my body and who was the interloper here anyway all unconscious mind and she said she called the cops but they never came because she knew it was me. check your body. talk to yourself, not your brain. does it feel the same way then? check it all over in every region every part and organ, isn't it all working together to keep your peace to keep you happy and dreaming and waking in your body? flap your skinny arms, it's not a miracle you can fly, it's you in your unconscious body. the same way then and now, your young body cycling on, even chased by dream cops. up through the portal wake. listen to the way you heard it then, when the news got caught in your brain like newsprint in a tree. make a wild hat of it, walk right out. it was a dream. it's still a dream. your body was dreaming the way out. the center isn't blind closed labyrinth it's a living mandala, it's stillness full of wisdom at the center. check your body being you, wow, you are a being.
