if you want to know i'm listening to ulla strauss quarantine concert and contemplating my navel. i didn't know it's the oldest meditation, contemplating one's navel as a way to quiet the chaos within and to cultivate stillness as the natural state. growing up if you were caught navel gazing you were shamed. he does nothing all day! look at him, navel gazing again!  makes you think stillness is not your natural state and chaos is what you sposed to cultivate.
notice how little kids focus on their belly-buttons. i remember mom saying, don't mess with that! you'll poke a hole! why is there always lint gathering in it? you don't get lint gathering in other orifices, right?  the corona, or is it corolla, the center of the flower is like a belly button in a way so is the sex organ. this can get you all smooshy when you try to meditate. i spose there's the difference between navel gazing and omphaloskepsis. but really isn't it the same thing too? it's all about tuning into what you really dig and tuning out extraneous stuff.
