the thing that gets me about this time is this virus is a human virus—we made it 
by destroying nature. we're too stupid to live within natural limits. too arrogant 
to accept that we can also be destroyed. this virus mirrors and amplifies the great 
mass of human stupidity and arrogant disregard of the environment we must 
live within. we've pushed the the human threat beyond all natural limit. and 
the empire is still at war.
