we walked by the children by the horseman statue and lulu looked longingly and strained that way for a moment but was easily diverted. then she saw an interesting leaf and stood up to reach it, just barely, fully extended. there was a kid coming through the underpass and her attention swung that way but i pointed to the leaf again and she finally got to it. training lulu may be best done by playful direction of her kinetic attention. she was graceful and balanced like a dancer en pointe. she could be trained to walk on her back legs, or dance the flamenco.
