dears comet and hilde are back, rather dear mary is, and i'm back with them, and a week apart makes me miss them and know how fond i feel for them. i feel them like family. mary brought me a lovely jade necklace from china for balance and i wear it now with fondness and yes i might say, balance, even though i get maudlin and keep cutting my fingers.
