i think sometimes i'm not smart enough. i'll never be smart enough to live my inner life in the world we inherit. my ex said you make the world but i don't have that much power. that is hubris. that is madness. no one makes the world. we all do. under power. the power we live under has no center and flings us to the margins. we are too sensitive for this power we must endure.
my nephew is subject in the way i was and am yet i'm not smart enough to help. we must endure. suffering connects, and suffering makes community, but we are within. we have to find ourselves in some form of communion. for me it started with animals. any portal of natural seeking will work. it may take a very long time. 
my sister feels guilty. i know that. i feel it with my dogs. i felt it with my mom too. we have to deal with our broken selves as creatively as possible, she says.
i think so. that's how i sort of grew up too. jasper is sensitive and has inner strength and creative nature that will come to his aid. and you have fed that. but sensitive people suffer the hard system.
maybe suffering begets suffering and sensitivity too. the crux is living our inner lives in the world we inherit. we have to find and make a world within that world. we are smart enough if we can opt out of the manufactured world.
