bird walk report. we feel real lucky to be accepted into the realm of the birders of jackson park and mister gives thanks for the love and delicious treats he receives from his beloved bird lovers.
the chicago tribune did an article about all the developments afoot threatening our nature sanctuary. we are grateful for to manya brachear pashman and john kim for their good work.
17 + 1 canine came saturday.
the report is for the birding community and others who want to preserve the habitat and quiet for which jackson park has been world renowned. we hope our concerns will hold
in check the 'obamaland' creep spilling over jackson park. we will continue to voice our concerns and fight to protect the special natural areas and free public access to those areas.
thank you pat for embracing us all and our life sustaining habitat.
on good neighbors i had a sad exchange with a g.n. who stood solidly for tourism and development, for more shops and traffic, and with these good neighbors it is hard to argue, for their minds are made, and more's the reason we must look to the birds, and all the other animals, and stand with the others for sanctuary, like us.
