isn't it funny how the good neighbors decry the menace of the sidewalk cyclists and how they were nearly killed again yet i have never seen a cyclist strike a pedestrian other than that ups driver who leapt between cars across a puddle directly running into me. i couldn't say the number of times i've been harassed and threatened by autopilots. one time crossing at a stop sign with mister we came within inches of being mowed down and i kicked the door and was assaulted by the driver. clearly it is not worth it to challenge the supremacy of the automobile (or the good neighbor) in the land of might makes right. but i gotta speak my peace. 
then the crank on cyclists writes back she's not in the habit of arguing with strangers. ha! as long as you just listen nicely and swallow her argument politely, you're a good neighbor. cheers.
