We were thinking of watching One Battle After Another, or that new dementia movie, oh yeah, Familiar Touch. Maybe OBAA would be too long, too intense, maybe we were lazy and didn't want to pay. We ended up watching Familiar Touch and The History of Sound, which together were longer than OBAA, and also intense, though in a quiet way. Both were so real they could have been documentaries, and Familiar Touch was filmed with elders in a real place for the elderly. The story of The History of Sound was so well played I expected the characters were real, and they were, just not actual people in what may be considered real life. I feel I could talk about the films more, but the thing is they just need to be watched.
