we met mary lois and neither dog barked. then we saw a dog who's anxious. the kid stood and blocked the dogs from meeting saying their dog doesn't like dogs and the parent said yeah these dogs don't like each other. i said i thought they were getting to know each other. then their dog barked and charlie barked and they were confirmed in their opinion, while i still have the feeling they might have gotten to know each other. charlie has some residual anxiety, but has become a good dog who likes dogs. i said to charlie, what if we said you don't like other dogs?
