we returned the elephant and the whale to chuck walker. r. asked if i felt sad. i did, yet saying goodbye i felt the same as when i first saw them. i felt good returning them to my good friend. i had them for 17 years, the same time it takes the locusts to return from underground. and it felt like a cycle for me too.
