charlie was zoom-zooming (not zooming) this morning and the kids on the quad were all delighted but this afteernoon the rain was raining and cold and charlie was newly shorn and looking up at me like, for crissakes i'm virtually naked! and dashing up the steps to any house for succor and ducking into the kindly cleaners and wonderful wine shop for treats. i almost got some too, the pickle potato chips had me drooling.
