on the way to pebble beach i saw a group of men sitting on the sea wall and knew who they were. heart drop. when i got to pebble beach it was covered with larger stones and the stone piles with the fliers about saving the beach were gone. on the way back i stopped and talked to the group they said yes it's happening, but the placard was old, the plan different now. oh fuck i don't care the place will be destroyed. it's the army corps. shit, they were even wearing fatigues. it's the war against nature. it never ends.
