anyway i got three library books and sold two bags of art books. made sixty-five bones, donated the rest, spent thirty-seven bones on snacks and nine lives turkey with gravy. the three books i got were: so many people, mariana, by maria judite de carvahlo, the pole, by j.m. coetzee (the library calls it a romance!), and night watch, by jayne anne phillips. what should i read first? ok, i'll try the pole, i gotta see what kind of romance coetzee cooks up.
