last night i slept poorly, well i was sleeping good after a while, dreaming soundly when r. shook me awake and there was a sharp rapping on the front door. i threw on my shorts but nobody was there. there was a fire engine parked out front. our neighbor fell and the fire fighters came and picked her up and all was well, but then juju was clawing the screen and i was stone woke and couldn't sleep for the life of me so i'm a little cranky today and it showed.
