capitalism alienates us from the system and nature alike. the prime product of capitalism is an alienated population. capitalists are as imprisoned as workers. there is no freedom in this. capitalists are alienated by capitalism and other capitalists. it's so obvious. when there is no representation and no compensation eventually the prisoners rebel. people consented to neoliberalism. people got creeping authoritarianism.
