we compromised, me and little bear, this morning. she took  me to the rabbit yard and down to 57th street and then wanted to go left like we did before when we went up to the train ridge. we stopped and looked at each other and i said don't you want to go to the dog yard? we haven't seen the international dog house yard dogs for a long time, and she said ah-right. there was nobody there so we, or she did some beautiful jumping for sticks and then this kid augie came along and his mom said he doesn't really like dogs that much he likes people so i reached over and touched him but he wanted to see bear and i said dogs that don't usually like other dogs like bear because she's so sweet and sure enough augie knew that already. then we stalked in slo-mo some pigeons who were doing little mating rituals and didn't pay us much mind.
