me and lulu got nutty in a leaf pile. i picked up a bag of trash 
after i picked up lulu's poo in a burger king wrapper 
and put the burger in a weed caught plastic bag, 
and each item i picked up lulu queried, 
and when i threw up handfuls of leaves we found many more items buried within, 
and then we watched the leaves blow in circles by the underpass 
and lulu stopped to look at the sound of the wind making 
the oddest sounds like a circling siren song.
